Launched in September 2019, it is the result of a co-design process carried out to substantiate and develop the project idea presented by the CRC Foundation as part of the co-financed initiatives supported by Impresa Con i Bambini, whose lead partner is Cooperativa Orso and includes the involvement of numerous partners: Cooperatives, Training Agencies, Trade Associations, the Piedmont Region, the Territorial School Office and the Zancan Foundation.

The focus of the project is early guidance, through activities and interventions to develop knowledge about professions at a very young age, people’s ability to make decisions and plan their professional future is improved.

Paola Merlino

Paola Merlino, University Master’s Degree in Management Labor Policies and Prof.le Training. Thirty years of experience in the field of Orientation and Equal Opportunities first at the Ministry of Labor, then as Consultant to Public Administrations, Companies, Foundations, Educational Institutes, Universities, Third Sector and Social Parties. Scientific Coordinator for Orientation and Member of the Scientific Committee Rondò dei Talenti and Cascina Oremo.

Since 2016 Resp. Area Orientation Social Consortium Il Filo da Tessere. Formerly Trusted Consultant Province of Turin currently works as a consultant in guidance counseling, supervision, training, design, social research.


Mariella Carta

Mariella Carta, pedagogist, guidance counselor and project manager of O.R.So Cooperative with coordination, planning and training duties and responsible for the City of Talents. She has been training and specializing in School and Vocational Orientation since 2012. Attends specific training courses with particular reference to “School Orientation Techniques – Early Orientation” funded by the CRC Foundation and recognized by the Piedmont Region and the regional pathway Skills and Territorial Co-design for Orientation. Conducts pathways on Early Orientation with elementary school and kindergarten.

Also active on Early Orientation within kindergarten, carry out some experimental projects in the territory.


Simonetta Bruno

Simonetta, Bruno, a graduate in Classical Literature, became a Trainer and then Head of the Planning Office of the Cebano Monregalese Vocational Training Center. She became passionate and specialized in the field of School and Vocational Orientation and starting in 2000 began to collaborate with the Local Orientation Group.

Attends specific training courses with particular reference to “School Orientation Techniques – Early Orientation” funded by the CRC Foundation and recognized by the Piedmont Region and the regional pathway Skills and Territorial Co-design for Orientation.

Conducts refresher courses on Early Orientation aimed at Primary School teachers and develops relationships with businesses to bring boys and girls closer to playful exploration of the world of work. It is also active at the European level, coordinating Erasmus + projects on orientation issues.


Enrico Santero

Enrico Santero, Guidance Counselor and Educational Coordinator of services aimed at minors, youth and families, since 2009 with Emmanuele Social Cooperative in Cuneo. For the past 10 years I have been involved in Early Guidance and Parenting Support through training seminars, discussion groups and individual interviews. I conduct training activities aimed at social workers and teachers on the following topics: team building, classroom group management, supervision of pupils with fragility, media education, promotion of well-being.


Ilaria Ranaudo

Ilaria Ranaudo, began speaking at the age of 3. And from that moment on, she never stops; every meeting becomes an opportunity for dialogue and discussion. She discovers that she likes to listen to people’s stories and be helpful; she becomes an orienteer, first for passion and then for work. And the stories become so important that they lead her to earn a master’s degree in “Narrative Orientation and School Dropout Prevention” in 2024. Her activities are always accompanied by readings, especially picture books, and the use of creativity. She is an eternal dreamer and has decided to accompany young people to believe that a different future is possible.


Sambu Buffa

Sambu Buffa calls herself a Change Designer, diversity mindset and inclusion trainer. She helps promote a culture of belonging, value and respect, optimizing practices and processes through the adoption of inclusive solutions. Author of the book “Change Mindset to Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in Your Business” the first book in Italy about diversity mindset, a process of awareness and creating a mindset that can see and authentically value diversity. He has collaborated and given trainings on topics related to practicing inclusion, recognizing diversity and being aware of one’s biases, stereotypes and prejudices.


Nicola Dutto

A motorcyclist’s first instinct when he falls is to get back up. Nicola Dutto, a professional motorcycle racer, made this impulse the metaphor for his life on and off the race track after he became a paraplegic during a competition on March 20, 2010. From 2000 to 2009 he was a motorcycling champion, distinguished by four victories in the Baja championship and winning two European, two Italian and two Spanish titles.

In 2010 the accident and after about two years, thanks to his determination he got back in the saddle and competed in the Baja Espana Aragon in Spain and the Baja 500 in Mexico becoming the first paraplegic rider in the world to compete with able-bodied people in the toughest international Desert Races. In 2019, he was the first paraplegic in the world to take part on a motorcycle in the Dakar2019 in Peru, one of the world’s toughest competitions; in 2020 and 2024 in the Africa Eco Race; and in 2024 he will finish the 1800 km Baja1000 in Baja California. In July he will be at the starting ribbons of the Baja Aragon in Spain.

Alongside his activity as a rider, Nicola had a dream: to transmit his experience to those who wanted it, An off-road motorcycling academy for the disabled since it did not exist in Italy,he created the Dutto Camps. He trains and participates in stages of the Giro d’Italia and other cycling events with Handbike. He is Ambassador for Banca Mediolanum, Laureus Foundation and KTM Italy

“I never hated the bike or disowned what I did. I consider myself a lucky guy because I was able to turn a passion into a profession, with all the risks of the job. When I’m in the saddle I forget I can’t use my legs. The bike broke me but it saved me.”


Paola Veglio

Paola Veglio, a graduate of the Polytechnic University of Turin in electronic engineering, has been CEO of Brovind Vibrators S.p.A. since 2013. She has developed a model of entrepreneurship and welfare that is attentive to employees and the local area, striving to keep the community of the small village of Cortemila, where the company is based, alive through the creation of services and job opportunities. Her entrepreneurial vision combines innovation, inclusion, and land enhancement, making her an example of virtuous female leadership.

Rocco Lombardi is an illustrator and graphic facilitator who has been drawing and writing since 2012, taking notes between conventions, presentations, workshops, and corporate meetings, traversing diverse topics ranging from economics to technology, from the medical world to the third sector, working both with markers on large-format panels and digitally with tablets.

Through Visual Thinking techniques and visual language, he transforms ideas into unique communication experiences in workshops and co-design processes. He collaborates with graphic designers, illustrators and agencies to develop innovative content, products and services capable of making communication, learning and distance learning more effective and engaging.
