Talent without borders

The Talent Without Borders summer school aims to promote high-level international professional development opportunities in the field of education, foster dialogue, exchange, and collaboration among education professionals from different countries and backgrounds, disseminate innovative educational practices, and support more equitable and inclusive education systems.

Goals

The international summer school will take place from 8 to 11 July 2026 in Cuneo (Italy) at Rondò dei Talenti and nearby venues.

The programme includes approximately 23 hours of on-site training. All activities will be conducted in English. Participants who attend at least 75% of the overall programme will be awarded an official certificate of participation.

The summer school will be developed based on the MOOC of the GEAR UP project, which aims to improve young people’s wellbeing across the EU by equipping all stakeholders involved in their orientation and guidance. The training will also be recognized as a microcredential, in line with the European framework that values short, high-quality learning experiences designed to develop specific knowledge, skills and competences.

Eligibility

The cohort will be composed of Italian1 and international participants.

The summer school is open to teachers, school leaders, educators, trainers, museum educators, researchers, and other education professionals.

International applicants must demonstrate good command of English.


Partecipation fee and financial support

The summer school is offered free of charge.

Fondazione CRC will award a participation grant of Euro 600 to the first 20 eligible international candidates admitted. The grant will be awarded upon completion of the summer school and subject to at least 75% attendance. The grants will be awarded in September 2026.


Application procedure and deadline

Applications must be submitted by 15 May 2026 via the online form

available at www.rondodeitalenti.it.

Required documents:

  • curriculum vitae;
  • motivation letter (in English);
  • self-declaration of residence.

As part of the application, candidates must declare under their own responsibility:

  • full name, place and date of birth, nationality, tax identification number (or equivalent), place of residence, telephone number, email address, and professional role (for teachers, the relevant school level);
  • that they do not require a visa or any form of support from the hosting institution to enter Italy;
  • that they have read, understood, and fully accept all the conditions set out in this Call for Applications.

Applications that do not fully meet the required conditions will not be taken into consideration.


Selection of applicants

Applications will be assessed by a committee appointed by Fondazione CRC based on motivation, professional relevance, geographical balance and submission order.

Decisions taken by Fondazione CRC are final and not subject to appeal.
